Schmitt Logistik is a medium-sized, third-generation company based in Vellberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company now offers all logistical services on more than 200,000 m² of warehouse space. An efficient, modern fleet of vehicles and equipment as well as future-oriented IT and quality systems speak for the logistics and forwarding company. A distinctly environmentally conscious way of thinking and acting is a matter of course for the Schmitt Group. To substantiate this, visionary processes for the efficient use of energy are used in close cooperation with Olmatic GmbH in order to strengthen the sustainable development of the Schmitt Group. With a future-oriented process, peak loads in the company can be compensated for through targeted forecasts using regenerative energy sources. Knowing full well that in addition to the high savings in electricity costs, several thousand tons of CO2 emissions are also reduced.
