Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components. Its product range includes O-Rings, hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, oil seals, static seals, pneumatic seals, mechanical seals and more. Recently, the Trelleborg Group set an ambitious climate target. Emissions are to be reduced by 50% by 2025. This means that the entire Trelleborg Group and all its companies will reduce their CO₂ emissions in relation to sales by 50% by 2025, combined with a vision of net zero emissions by the end of 2035. To support this Group initiative, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Germany is partnering with Olmatic GmbH. Pure monitoring of energy parameters is no longer sufficient for such a project. Olmatic makes detailed and target-oriented predictions about occurring load peaks and balances them in time with renewable energy sources. By increasing energy efficiency, several thousand tons of CO₂ emissions are reduced.
