Olmatic & Fudura start the first pilot phase

 

 

 

After Olmatic’s success in the ‘Fudura Challenge’, the two will now jointly work with the first pilot client in the Netherlands. For its challenge, Fudura searched for global startups with innovative data-driven solutions that could analyze and optimize existing energy infrastructures. After an intensive application process, Olmatic prevailed in the end. Since then, both companies have been cooperating closely to develop joint processes and solutions for selected pilot clients. One such pilot client from the Netherlands, which offers complete solutions in plastic injection molding for over 40 years, is currently being thoroughly equipped with hardware and undergoing extensive analysis. The project’s aim is to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. With this project, Olmatic & Fudura create complete transparency in the customer’s energy profile, and correlate process indicators (e.g., cycle time, product weight, and material type) with energy consumption at the machine level. The joint solution optimizes machine performance and maintenance, reduces peak loads, compares machine energy usage, and thus better allocates energy costs to individual products.
