Olmatic & Fudura start the first pilot phase
After Olmatic prevailed as the winner of the ‘Fudura Challenge’, the first pilot customer in the Netherlands will now be served jointly. As part of a challenge, Fudura was looking for global startups with innovative data-driven solutions that could be used to specifically analyze and optimize existing energy infrastructures. In the end, Olmatic prevailed after an intensive application process. Since then, both companies have been in close contact and develop joint processes and solutions for selected pilot customers. One of these pilot customers from the Netherlands, who has been offering complete solutions in plastic injection molding for over 40 years, is currently being extensively equipped with hardware and extensively analyzed. The aim of the project is to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. During the project, Olmatic & Fudura create complete transparency in the customer’s energy profile and correlate process indicators such as cycle time, product weight and material type with energy consumption at the machine level. The joint solution enables the performance and maintenance of the machine to be optimized, peak values to be reduced, machines to be compared and thus energy costs to be better distributed among individual products.
