Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components. Its product range includes O-Rings, hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, oil seals, static seals, pneumatic seals, mechanical seals and more. Recently, the Trelleborg Group set an ambitious climate target: reduce emissions by 50% by 2025. This means that the entire Trelleborg Group and all its companies will reduce their carbon emissions in relation to sales by 50% by 2025,in line with its vision of net zero emissions by the end of 2035. To support this Group initiative, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Germany partnered with Olmatic GmbH. Pure monitoring of energy parameters is no longer sufficient for such a project. Olmatic makes detailed and target-oriented predictions about occurring peak loads and shaves them with renewable energy in time. By increasing energy efficiency, several thousand tons of carbon emissions are reduced.
