VDL HMI is a Dutch supplier company specializing in metalworking operations. In this joint project, Olmatic not only handles peak load management, but also conducts detailed process analyses to determine the respective relationship to energy consumption. We calculate peak loads and their main causes and measure the influence of the material thickness on the energy consumption of the respective machines. We then examine the relationship between machine energy consumption and the air compressor and establish a standard consumption pattern for the heavy energy consumers in the production process.
